The NHS Friends and Family Test is a simple feedback tool which asks the key question... How likely are you to recommend our service to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
Responses options range between extremely likely – extremely unlikely and people can leave anonymous comments too.
The friends and family question is incorporated into all our patient experience questionnaires, feedback cards, feedback, kiosks and our online form. Anyone who contacts the patient experience service by telephone will also be asked the question.
Feedback from anyone who uses our services is extremely useful as it tells us how we're doing and helps us to improve services.

The Friends and Family Test scoring system has recently been simplified, so it now just states the percentage of respondents who would/would not recommend the services.
