Your Hands

Effective hand hygiene remains the single most effective means of preventing the transmission of healthcare associated infections.  Hands can only be decontaminated effectively by ensuring the correct technique is used.  In order to do this hands and wrists need to be  fully exposed and should be of long sleeved clothing and jewellery.
