Health Matters - National No Smoking Day

If you were thinking about quitting smoking then join one million plus smokers who quit each year on national No Smoking Day. This year thousands of people across the country will be trying to quit smoking on Wednesday 12 March with the support of their local Stop Smoking Service.

Smoking is one of the largest preventable causes of premature death in the UK. It's linked to a wide range of serious and fatal conditions including lung cancer and heart disease.

If you're ready to quit smoking our friendly Livewell Team will be out and about on National No Smoking Day supporting people to take the first step to becoming smokefree.
