Essential building works will be carried out at Arrowe Park Walk-in Centre from Monday 11 November for four weeks. Although services will be running as normal, please attend Eastham Walk-in Centre or Victoria Central (Wallasey) Walk-in Centre if you are able to do so. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Car park closure at St Catherine's Health Centre 

The patient car park at St Catherine’s Health Centre will be closed on Saturday 7 December and the staff car park closed on Sunday 8 December due to essential new road markings. We apologise for any inconvenience.

No Smoking Day - Wednesday 11 March. The day you start to stop!

Over one million smokers are expected to use No Smoking Day to quit - will you be one of them?

Our Livewell team will be out and about on No Smoking Day to help smokers make this the day they start to stop. The team will be at a number of events across Wirral including:

Monday 9 March

  • 10.00am - 4.00pm, Arrowe Park Hospital (foyer area), Arrowe Park Road, CH49 5PE

Wednesday 11 March

  • 10.00am - 4.00pm, Cherry Tree Shopping Centre (opposite Grainger Games), 10 Cherry Tree Square, Wallasey, CH44 5XU
  • 10.00am - 4.00pm, Tesco (foyer area), Bidston Valley Road, Birkenhead, CH43 7AA
  • 10.00am - 4.00pm, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (foyer area), Bebington Road, Bebington, CH63 4JY
  • 12.00noon - 2.00pm, Asda (foyer area), Welton Road, Croft Business Park, Bromborough, CH62 3QP


If you cannot make one of the events don't worry! The team offers support at a number of drop-in and appointment only stop smoking clinics across Wirral. For more information about the clinics or the support offered call 0151 630 8383 or see our clinic timetable.


Our stop smoking support includes:

  • Up to 12 weeks motivational support
  • One to one or group support in a number of local venues across Wirral
  • Daytime and evening support sessions
  • Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) via voucher scheme*
  • Support for people using e-cigarettes to help them quit
  • Workplace support
