This June - it's The Big Feed 2017!

Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust is celebrating Breastfeeding Awareness Month with some fun-filled events for all the family. June 2017 will be a great opportunity for expectant mothers, breastfeeding mothers and families to find out what support and information is on offer in Wirral.

The ‘Big Feeds’ are taking place at a range of venues across Wirral, where we encourage local mums to come and breastfeed. There will be lots of activities for everyone to get involved in, as well as information and advice.

On Wednesday 21 June, you can show your support and join us and the whole of Merseyside in Liverpool for the Breastfeeding Awareness Month Walk from St Georges Hall to Chavasse Park for a family friendly picnic!

Clare Whitehead, Infant Feeding Lead, said: “These events are unique opportunities to get involved and ask any questions in a friendly and welcoming setting. We are here to support, alleviate concerns, encourage and empower mums to breastfeed.”

Make sure you also keep an eye out on the trust's Twitter page (@wirralct) for all the latest news and developments for Breastfeeding Awareness Month.
